What we collect
You can visit this website without creating an account or giving us your name, phone number, address, or precise location. Foundry Cast does not use advertising trackers, analytics profiles, or third-party pixels.
The public site may temporarily process basic request information, such as an IP address and browser details, through the infrastructure that delivers the site. This is used only to serve pages, keep the service secure, and prevent abuse. Foundry Cast does not use it to build a profile about you.
Optional mobile-access requests
If you choose “Request mobile access” on the home page, you may provide an email address. We use that address only to respond to your request or send the mobile invitation you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
You do not need to submit an email address to browse the site or use the desktop downloads. We keep an access-request email only for as long as it is reasonably needed to complete the request and then remove it.
Foundry Cast accounts and content
Foundry Cast is designed around user-controlled identities. We do not require a real name or email address to identify you. Public keys, community information, and content may be processed by the relay or community operator you connect to so that the service can function.
That data is not sold or shared by Foundry Cast for advertising. If you use a relay operated by someone else, that operator may have its own privacy policy and retention practices. Check with the operator if you have questions about data on that relay.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose information only when it is necessary to run a requested service, protect the service and its users, or comply with a valid legal obligation.
We keep information only for the limited purpose and period described above. We do not keep a marketing database or maintain cross-service tracking profiles.
Your choices
You can use the public site without submitting personal information. You can also choose not to request mobile access. If you submitted an email for that request and want it removed sooner, contact the Foundry Cast team through the support channel associated with your deployment.
Changes to this policy
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and its effective date. The current version will always be available at cast.foundry896.com/privacy-policy.
